Sales Quotation Support Specialist – Lafayette, IN
Location: 3131 Main St, Lafayette, IN 47905
Shift timing: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Job Description- Client Extrusions (AEX) is seeking a Quote Analyst to provide responses to Requests for Quote (RFQ) from clients’ customers.
- Join the Client Extrusions (AEX) team at our Lafayette, IN facility as a key part of the customer quotation process. Our organization is dedicated to rapid, profitable growth through continuous capital investment, operational excellence, and career development.
- This position reports to the Quote Analyst Team lead, AEX, and is based in Lafayette, IN.
- Client is a $14 billion global leader in lightweight metals engineering and manufacturing; offering products used in aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, building and construction, defense, and industrial applications.
- Respond to customer RFQs in a timely manner by preparing accurate quotes.
- Continuously improve accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and clarity in the quoting/estimating process and Quotemaster tools.
- Analyze quoting data (e.g., customer quote trends, quote-to-order trends, response time trends) and provide insights to the sales team.
- Interpret and calculate all attributes and producibility for each RFQ, including part drawings, spec review, and die prints.
- Apply business guidelines, capacities, constraints, and cost factors to guide business to optimal manufacturing flow‑path.
- Provide technical assistance to Inside and Outside Sales personnel on producibility, manufacturing, quality, and pricing concerns.
- Perform miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties to assist the Commercial Organization in providing timely and accurate responses to sales personnel and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, One Note).
- Customer and personal service skills: assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation.
- Strong service orientation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills: active listening, persuasion, and social perceptiveness.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Critical thinking, deductive and inductive reasoning.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales environment.
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
