Job Summary
Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services including video, high‑speed Internet, voice and XFINITY Home. Utilizes advanced knowledge of Comcast's products and sales process to maximize sales and work effectively within assigned turf.
CompensationTotal Target Compensation: $81,238 (Base $41,488 + Commission). Base pay is $41,488.
Core Responsibilities- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Comcast products and markets, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers through door‑to‑door canvassing within assigned territory.
- Displays thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing and campaigns for video, high‑speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home.
- Effectively communicates and develops rapport with customers, evaluating their existing and potential product needs and making recommendations.
- Increases customer understanding of Comcast products, pricing models and competitive advantages over other service providers; evaluates competitive offers and frames response to show Comcast benefits.
- Creates and executes turf management plans independently, utilizing experience‑based sales techniques and operating independently.
- Shows confidence in selling ability, demonstrating a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales with an emphasis on business‑to‑consumer sales.
- Demonstrates competent time management and organizational skills, meeting and exceeding sales goals established by the local market.
- Independently establishes and organizes daily sales activities, generating business through approved lead‑generation methods and implementing effective sales closing techniques to achieve product installation goals.
- Illustrates strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases) and strong customer service skills.
- Must meet physical requirements, walking and traveling door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all weather conditions and be able to work nights, weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance; demonstrates independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2‑5 years of experience selling Comcast or similar consumer technology products.
- Relevant certifications (if applicable).
- Advanced knowledge of Comcast products, pricing, and competitive landscape.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills.
- Technical capability, including computer, billing system and database use.
- Physical ability to walk and travel door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends, variable schedules and overtime.
