Position Summary
The Sales Manager will help lead the total sales efforts for the hotel, focusing on revenue growth, market share expansion, and maximizing profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager will help develop and implement customized sales and marketing strategies, utilizing market insights and building strategic partnerships.

- Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Build and maintain long‑lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate local market competitiveness, developing strategy to meet new market demands.
- Participate with business unit leadership to develop and implement pricing strategy to meet Company objectives.
- Develop and execute promotional programs, sales blitzes, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales.
- Serves as Brand Champion to the hotel by communicating passion for the brand, making decisions in light of brand standards and serves as role model for branded guest experience.
- Partner with the Director of Sales in developing and updating the hotel's business plan, providing input on sales goals and strategies.
- Develop the sales forecast and maintain accountability for sales goal achievement, including but not limited to respective key metrics and/or budget achievement.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all sales activities, promoting a cooperative and supportive work environment in line with Ivy Hospitality's core values.
- Maintain accurate historical records and ensure that all sale transactions comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field experience.
Experience:
1+ years successful experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting. Comparable record of sales leadership experience is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
Marketing experience is desired to help expand marketing efforts.
Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade shows, conventions, etc.
