Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and deliver strong customer service with integrity.
This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as open doors, damaged fencing, or abnormal conditions.
- Control access at designated points by checking identification, monitoring visitor sign-in, issuing directions, and/or verifying deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and other security-related paperwork, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- CPR Certification - preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Lift More Than 20 lbs - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
