Electronic Safety and Security Technician

Job Summary

Join our team as an ESS Technician! You’ll install, program, test, and repair electronic safety and security systems for residential and commercial customers. This hands‑on role includes troubleshooting, running cables, configuring devices, performing inspections, and ensuring systems work safely and reliably. You’ll also provide clear guidance to customers and maintain accurate documentation.

• Apprentice / New Hire: $20–$21/hour
• Level 1 (0.5–2 yrs): $22–$23/hour
• Level 2 (3–5 yrs): $24–$27/hour
• Level 3 (6+ yrs): $28–$30/hour

• Install, program, and repair electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and test devices for proper operation.
• Run and terminate cables; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Complete work orders and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Safely operate tools, lifts, and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Networking experience required; multimeter experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
