  • Replace hydraulic hoses safely and accurately to prevent leaks and ensure reliable hydraulic system operation.
  • Execute lubrication and greasing preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and mechanical components according to established schedules.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on conveyors, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and minor mechanical repairs.
  • Assist higher-level maintenance technicians in completing complex or two-person tasks on equipment and systems as needed.
  • Unplug and clear sluices and other fluid or chip transport pathways to maintain proper flow and prevent blockages.
  • Replace way wipers and perform minor mechanical adjustments to ensure machines operate smoothly and within specifications.
  • Identify and eliminate air, coolant, and hydraulic leaks by tightening fittings, replacing components, and verifying system integrity.
  • Support installation, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid systems.
  • Apply basic welding and cutting skills when needed for maintenance and repair tasks, following safety procedures.
  • Use basic electrical knowledge and print reading to assist in diagnosing issues and supporting maintenance activities on CNC machine tools, conveyors, robots, and coolant systems.
  • Document completed preventive maintenance tasks and report any issues or abnormalities that require further repair or follow-up.
