Shift: 2nd Shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 7:00PM – 7:00AM

Compensation:
Up to $37 an hour (DOE)

Position Overview

We’re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Lafayette, IN with strong experience in electrical systems, industrial automation, and troubleshooting. What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose and repair industrial automation equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Work with voltages up to 480

    VAC, 120AC, and 24

    VDC
  • Install and assemble electrical circuits, control panels, and related components
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and performance records
  • Assist operators with safe equipment operation and procedures
  • Train and support maintenance team members as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical/electronic maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship in a related field
  • Hands‑on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
  • Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeter, megger, infrared scanner, etc.)
  • Comfortable working at heights and in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills
