Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, and log trip counts.
- Transport passengers safely and assist disabled passengers as needed.
- Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license to be carried with the driver at all times while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Courteously assist customers by answering questions and directing them to the Facility Manager if necessary.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills and other hazards to the garage office.
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
- Assist customers with luggage and other items, if applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/Experience
Required:
Less than a high school education or one month of related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement: The employee must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable DMV record.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. Availability to work a third shift and/or weekends may be required.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and other employees.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract simple two‑digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, including use of units of American money.
Appearance: Employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
Physical Demands: The job requires standing, walking, using hands to handle cash and equipment, occasionally sitting, climbing or balancing, and lifting or moving up to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Salary$25.00 per hour
