Logistics Planning Analyst

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Planning Analyst to join our team. This position is primarily office-based, with approximately 75% of the workday spent managing customer communications, logistics coordination, and data analysis through computer and phone interactions. The remaining 25% of the time will involve collaboration with the warehouse team to support operational activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Previous Logistics Planning Analyst experience is required.
    • Experience must be focused on logistics coordination, planning, and analysis, not solely loading and unloading trucks.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to:
    • Receive and inspect inbound shipments.
    • Accurately tag and track parts.
    • Inspect outbound shipments to verify correct sequencing and quantities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Experience with EDI transactions, ASN processing, and customer routing or labeling requirements.
  • Inventory control and cycle count experience.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including operations, transportation, and quality departments.

  • Ability to interpret logistics data and reports.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Proactive issue resolution and escalation management.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
