Logistics Planning Analyst
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Logistics Planning Analyst to join our team. This position is primarily office-based, with approximately 75% of the workday spent managing customer communications, logistics coordination, and data analysis through computer and phone interactions. The remaining 25% of the time will involve collaboration with the warehouse team to support operational activities.
Required Qualifications- Previous Logistics Planning Analyst experience is required.
- Experience must be focused on logistics coordination, planning, and analysis, not solely loading and unloading trucks.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to:
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments.
- Accurately tag and track parts.
- Inspect outbound shipments to verify correct sequencing and quantities.
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting OEM customers.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Experience with EDI transactions, ASN processing, and customer routing or labeling requirements.
- Inventory control and cycle count experience.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including operations, transportation, and quality departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret logistics data and reports.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Proactive issue resolution and escalation management.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
