Trans Force is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support Local operations based in Lafayette, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Flatbed Driver Details:

• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, 6 am - 5 pm, home daily, occasional Saturday if needed
• Pay: $29/hr ($1,600/weekly)
• Route Type:
  Local, shipping loads daily from Lafayette, IN to Millersburg, IN. Occasional overnight trip for an Illinois route.
• Equipment:
  Flatbed, manual transmission
• Handling:
  Chaining, strapping, and tarping experience required, but tarping is only required in inclement weather

CDL A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

  Flatbed experience required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks, including chaining, strapping, and tarping as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role
