Job Overview

We are currently looking for qualified drivers to staff Domino’s Pizza stores in your area. This position offers a flexible schedule enabling you to balance school or other commitments while earning reliable income.

Many team members begin as delivery drivers and grow into franchise owners, managers, or corporate roles.

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Possess navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.
• Operate all delivery equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, and prepare product.
• Maintain accurate records, including monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch-screen.
• Demonstrate verbal, written, and telephone skills to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Show motor coordination for precise, rapid movements and the ability to handle physical tasks such as carrying, pushing, climbing, and stooping.

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

• Perform simple arithmetic accurately and quickly.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal and written communication to take and process orders.
• Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers for quick, accurate movements.
• Enter orders efficiently via computer keyboard or touch-screen.

Exposure to:

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product.
• In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
• Sudden temperature changes, fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing:

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near, mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments:

• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, meet quality control standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments.

Carrying:

• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
• Use hand truck to unload bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Carry cases of ingredients up to 3ft × 1.5ft, lift and stack up to 72in high.

Driving:

• Deliver pizzas within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift.

Walking & Climbing:

• Travel between the store and vehicle, and from vehicle to customer location.
• Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.

Additional physical requirements such as standing, walking short distances, stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, and hand tasks (eye-hand coordination, use of tools) are expected throughout the shift.

• Deliver product by car to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle available for delivery.
