Warehouse Operations Manager – Lafayette, IN
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This role oversees the efficient operation of warehouse accounts, with responsibilities including payroll,P&L analysis, and ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities- Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees under your responsibility; address performance issues and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations and operate the account to meet demands.
- Be responsible for payroll processing for employees.
- Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability; provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
- Hold safety and security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned and be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Three (3) years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
- Two (2) years or more of experience managing and leading direct reports.
- Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations (advanced).
- Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and schedule tasks to meet deadlines; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Safety and security knowledge (advanced).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM (flexible as needed). Compensation:
Salaried, exempt; annual salary $80,000–$82,000; annual bonus potential of 10% of salary.
