Warehouse Associate / Parts Delivery Driver Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing fasteners and related products for shipment. This position also includes delivering parts as needed. Strong attention to detail, dependability, and accuracy are important to ensure the correct parts and quantities are picked, prepared, and delivered.
Pay Rate$20.00 per hour
This position receives an additional $1.00 per hour above the standard $19.00 Warehouse Associate rate due to the parts delivery responsibilities.
Shift & Schedule- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Saturdays may be required based on business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities Warehouse Duties
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets and/or the warehouse inventory system.
- Verify part numbers and quantities while picking orders.
- Pack, label, and prepare fasteners and related components for shipment.
- Receive incoming products and verify quantities against packing slips and receiving documentation.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Put away incoming materials in assigned warehouse locations.
- Stage completed orders for shipment or delivery.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, labels, and product identification.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and warehouse records.
- Operate pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment.
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming products.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
- Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Assist other warehouse team members as needed.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- Deliver parts and materials as needed.
- Ensure the correct parts and quantities are prepared for delivery.
- Load and unload parts and materials associated with deliveries.
- Complete assigned deliveries in addition to regular warehouse responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Current insurance required.
- Steel-toed shoes are required.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, picking/packing, or inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately read part numbers, labels, pick tickets, and shipping documentation.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent work pace.
- Basic computer or warehouse inventory system experience preferred.
- Material-handling equipment experience preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely handle boxes, containers, and bulk quantities of fasteners and related products.
- Steel-toed shoes are required for this position.
- Jeans must be free of holes and tears.
- Appropriate T-shirts are permitted.
- Clothing must be suitable for a professional and safe warehouse environment.
This position combines warehouse responsibilities with parts delivery duties. Employees will perform regular warehouse functions and make parts deliveries as needed based on daily business requirements.
