Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator supports the Assistant Operations Manager with day-to-day coordination and scheduling of customer deliveries and returns, while also assisting with new team member training, equipment maintenance, and operational paperwork.

The purpose of the Logistics Coordinator is to keep deliveries, returns, and daily operations organized and running efficiently. Working closely with the Assistant Operations Manager, this position

coordinates with other departments, assists with training, and ensures necessary equipment is maintained so the team can provide timely and reliable service to customers.

• Assist the Assistant Operations Manager with daily tasks, including scheduling deliveries and returns.
• Reinforce company policies and procedures with drivers, yard, and warehouse associates.
• Assist with training new team members.

• Coordinate with HR and Management to instruct team members on all safety issues, including the use of equipment and establishment of policies where needed.
• Ensure that customers and team members do not misuse or misappropriate company assets, including inventory.

• Process customer returns, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and forwarded to appropriate parties for timely customer credit.
• Coordinate the restocking of returned materials with Receiving.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory items.

• Coordinate and ensure routine and scheduled maintenance of trucks, forklifts, banding machines, and other operational equipment.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are clean, professional in appearance, and properly equipped with required forms and documentation.

• Assist drivers with loading materials, ensuring products are properly secured and protected from damage.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Support daily yard and warehouse operations as needed.
