Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager, based in Lafayette, LA. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements, overseeing journal entries, and managing fixed assets. Additional responsibilities include maintaining financial accuracy through data analysis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting in the oversight of general accounting processes to support organizational goals.

Manage the activities of the accounting department and staff.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and comprehensive understanding of Finance concepts
• Strong Analytical Skills to ensure accurate financial data and effective problem-solving
• Experience with managing Journal Entries and Fixed Assets
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant accounting software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 2 years in management of accounting personnel
