MPW Properties is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will perform daily accounting and financial functions for multiple companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Maintain and audit general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and complete bank reconciliations.
- Perform year-end accounting functions.
- Prepare month-end accruals and journal entries.
Assist with reviewing entered invoices and tracking outstanding invoices. - Print accounts payable checks with invoices, and verify accuracy.
- Monitor daily cash balances.
- Assist with annual CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations.
- Other office duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
