Job Title

Local family-owned company seeking experienced accounting professional who enjoys building strong financial systems, leading people, and serving as a trusted business partner to ownership.

• Lead all accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close.
• Coordinate with the company's CPA, banks, auditors, and insurance providers.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Develop financial reporting and key performance metrics for leadership.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
• Improve financial processes and operational efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). Significant experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or in a senior accounting leadership role. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience leading an accounting team. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style.
