Overview
The Louisiana Physical Therapy Board’s mission is to protect the public health, safety and welfare, and to provide for state administrative control, supervision, licensing, and regulation of the practice of physical therapy in Louisiana. The enabling law reflects our mission, objectives, and approach to performing our functions. We’re looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our agency. The Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in supporting staff at all levels, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office, and serving as the first point of contact for visitors.

Job Duties and Responsibilities- Administrative Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting office staff in a variety of administrative tasks, including routine paperwork, computer data entry, organizing travel and calendars, and preparing for meetings.
- Work with all staff members to provide administrative support. Proactive, ethical, and a team player approach is desirable.
- Receives, scans, and distributes mail.
- Quick Books entry/general data entry.
- Assists staff in routine admin tasks, including mailing.
- Coordinates calendar and schedules meetings for staff, board members, and advisory committee members.
- Process mailing list requests according to board policy.
- Coordinates travel for staff, board members, and advisory committee members.
- Orders, receives, and distributes office supplies.
- Serves as receptionist for the office.
- Completes annual audit of licensure files.
- Prepares meeting rooms for all meetings. Additional work as needed.
- Board Meeting:
Prepares boardrooms for all in-person meetings, including board meetings.

- Appointment Type: Probational
- Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 1, 2, or 3
- Work Schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
- Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
