Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounting Assistant to provide support to Finance Manager and the firm. This position will not only handle essential accounting functions but also oversee our personnel records and facilities management. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, a solid understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must be detail orientated, able to muti-task and driven to ensure accuracy and prompt processing of financial issues.

• Maintaining employee records including new hire paperwork, personnel benefits and annual reviews
• Ensure accurate tracking of employee PTO, time off, and other leave records, coordinating with both HR and direct supervisors.
• Handle employee discipline and terminations records in alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee facility management responsibilities.
• Basic accounting duties collaboratively with Director of Finance
• Payroll processing
• Maintain W9 documentation and vendor files
• Assisting in day-to-day accounting operations

• 2-5 years of general accounting experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and manage competing deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Passion for supporting others and a commitment to excellence.
