The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is a public research university committed to academic excellence, innovation, and service. We're looking for an Administrative Coordinator 3 to join our University of Louisiana at Lafayette team. The Administrative Coordinator 3 performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties requiring independent judgment in support of staff members and/or the operations of an organizational unit or program.
An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

Two years of experience in administrative services. Experience substitution:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:
- Perform administrative and clerical duties in accordance with established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Process routine paperwork and enter information into departmental logs, databases, or other systems.
- Communicate with other departments, customers, and individuals regarding departmental or program-related matters.
- Assist with document imaging processes, including maintaining records and logs of imaged files.
- Prepare requisitions for the purchase of supplies and enter purchasing information into applicable systems.
- Compile information from various sources and prepare specialized reports in accordance with departmental standards.
- Provide clerical and administrative assistance to management.
- Maintain appointment schedules and assist with coordinating meetings and other activities.
- Prepare travel-related documents and arrangements as required.
- Assist management with routine administrative matters and communications.
- Assist with administrative functions such as property control, purchasing, and safety as assigned.
- Maintain accurate departmental records, files, and documentation.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
