Service Advisor for Quick Lube Department

Join the Sterling KIA team in Lafayette, LA! Sterling KIA is looking for a Service Advisor for our Quick Lube Department. This position works specifically in our Quick Lube building and service lane, assisting customers with routine maintenance and express service needs.

As a Service Advisor, you will guide customers through the service process, communicate recommended maintenance and pricing, and help keep the Quick Lube lane moving efficiently while providing an excellent customer experience.

This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organization, the ability to multitask, and excellent customer service skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers visiting the Quick Lube lane for routine maintenance and express services
• Guide customers through the service process from vehicle check-in through completion
• Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle inspections, maintenance needs, and service status
• Clearly explain recommended services, pricing, and estimated completion times to customers
• Keep customers informed of their vehicle's status throughout the service visit
• Maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the Quick Lube lane
• Build strong customer relationships and provide a positive service experience
• Manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment

Requirements & Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dealership Service Advising experience is required
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (must be 21+ or have 3 years driving experience)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Full time Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Every other Saturday required from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
