- Communicate with deans, department chairs, and Student Affairs Services to support the needs of prospective students.
- Maintain and distribute reports to demonstrate the results of recruitment and enrollment efforts and aid in data‑driven decision making.
- Maintain current knowledge of program offerings, curriculum, degree plans, and pathways.
- Travel as needed to provide recruitment and entry advising services.
- Ability and willingness to work after hours and weekends as assignments and demands require.
- Maintain current knowledge of software systems used in recruitment, admissions, advising, and reporting.
- Participate in the testing of new software features.
- Develop, plan, manage, schedule, and host a variety of recruitment events, both on campus and at external locations, to attract prospective high school students and adult learners to enroll at SoLAcc.
- Meet individually and in groups of varying sizes to effectively present enrollment information to prospective students.
- Communicate to prospective students and external partners information regarding admissions requirements, program offerings, placement guidelines, program and course prerequisites, tuition and fees, and financial aid options.
- Collaborate with the Office of Financial Aid and Institutional Advancement to maintain current information on financial aid offerings, scholarships, and other funding sources.
- Utilize data‑driven decision‑making to strategize recruitment activities that will achieve unit, college, and system goals.
- Develop presentation content specific to various prospective student populations to provide enrollment information specific to their needs.
- Design, build, and maintain communication plans, emails, and event information in the customer relationship management software specific to a variety of community groups.
- Maintain accurate prospective student information in the customer relationship management software for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of recruitment events and activities.
- Advise prospective students in the selection of technical and academic pathways that align with their individual educational and career goals.
- Maintain regular communications with high school counselors and other community agencies and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Student Affairs to guide a prospective student through the stages of enrollment, including applying for financial aid, selecting pathways appropriate to education goals, registering classes, establishing payment plans, to maximize the potential for degree completion.
- Create and maintain reports to track prospective students and applicants through the stages of the enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate student records and entry advising notations utilizing the student information system, Starfish, and reports to track students’ progress through the enrollment funnel.
- Maintain consistent, regular communications with prospective students.
- Maintain current knowledge of admissions process.
- Assist students with resolving barriers to enrollment progression by working collaboratively with student services.
- Complete all mandatory training and seek professional development opportunities to maintain and expand job‑related skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of recruitment events and activities.
- Maintain consistent, regular communications with prospective students.
