Main responsibility and tasks- Actively comply, enforce, and participate in Tampnet HSEQ policies and procedures
- Assess safety and business risks associated with field activities
- Represent Tampnet in a professional manner while following all customer policies
- Read, understand, and follow detailed scopes of work for projects
- Read, understand, and follow dispatch summaries of jobs
- Ability to safely install equipment at heights following all industry standards and guidelines
- Availability 24 hours per day on scheduled days of work
- Ability to work shifts which include extended numbers of days per hitch
- Manage processes through Tampnet sponsored software and accounting practices
- Remain capable of supporting work through technical training
- Work closely with support teams to ensure proper execution of the project
- Travel to remote locations as needed via air, land, and sea
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Lead or participate in after‑action reviews
- Participate in emergency response team as necessary
- Perform other technical tasks within his/her area of expertise
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 2 years experience in offshore communications environment (preferred wireless telecommunications)
- Maintain a valid US Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Maintain or be able to maintain TWIC Card
- Ability to attend training as needed for travel by helicopter and boat to work locations
- 1 year experience with fiber and RF test equipment preferred
