I&C Technician; xOffshore

Primary Responsibilities

• Respond and provide Instrumentation and Controls support during outages.
• Support the daily operations of the business unit through the installation, programming, start‑up and maintenance of automation and process control equipment.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Information Technology groups.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and guidelines.

• Directly interface with clients and company management to report project status, risks, and resolutions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose various instrumentation and control problems.
• Familiarity with offshore oil & gas processing facilities.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation requirements.
• Strong understanding of control system design and project execution.

• Two‑year technical degree in instrumentation from a technical institute or 5‑year relevant work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi‑task and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations, and field personnel.
