STS Technical Services is hiring Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanics in Lafayette, Louisiana to support aircraft maintenance operations tied to lease return projects.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license and have hands‑on maintenance and repair experience on S-92 or UH-60 aircraft.

The Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanic will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role supports fast‑paced, safety‑critical aviation operations with a strong focus on quality and turnaround time.

• Perform aircraft maintenance in support of lease return projects
• Complete assigned task cards in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Conduct routine and non‑routine inspections
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft systems
• Remove and replace aircraft components as required
• Perform general structural and mechanical repairs
• Execute operational checks to ensure proper system functionality
• Comply with all safety and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of maintenance operations

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required
• Minimum of 2+ years of S-92 experience required
• Candidates with UH-60 or VH-92 experience must have 4–5+ years of relevant experience
• Inspection experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and safety requirements
• Ability to complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory standards
• Must be able to pass standard pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screening

• Position is based in Lafayette, Louisiana supporting PHI Aviation operations
• Weekly per diem is offered on top of the hourly rate
• Currently hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift. Candidates must be open to either
