Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

Project Engineers are responsible for coordination of field activities, including subcontractor and client interactions, material procurement and work with the Project Manager and Superintendent/Foreman to deliver a project within budget and schedule. The ability to problem solve while under pressure, multi-task, negotiate and communicate effectively is essential.

• BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Active P.E. (major plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Auto Cad
• Experience/training in construction surveying a plus
• Ability to thrive in a changing environment
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work on active construction site
• Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice and work a job rotation schedule

Experienced project engineers may be asked to supervise other field engineers.

Professional Engineer – Civil Engineering Degree – Experience with Bridge/Rail projects
