In the role of Coastal Coordinator/EI, you'll support project engineers in applying design engineering and modeling techniques across water resource projects for municipal clients.

Responsibilities
  • Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalities.
  • Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations.
  • Handle projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues, and non‑point source loading and point source design.
  • Produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to task completion.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must.
