This full‑time, on‑site Financial Advisor role is based in Lafayette, LA. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, analyze their current financial situation, and develop customized strategies for investments, retirement planning, and overall financial wellness. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing financial plans, making investment recommendations, and regularly reviewing portfolios to ensure alignment with client objectives and risk tolerance.
The role also involves educating clients on financial products, staying current with market trends and regulatory requirements, and maintaining detailed records of client interactions. Advisors will collaborate with internal teams, participate in business development activities, and build long‑term relationships through ongoing service and proactive outreach.
- Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs, create tailored plans, and provide ongoing guidance.
- Solid knowledge of Finance and Investments to analyze markets, recommend appropriate products, and explain strategies clearly.
- Experience or training in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare for and manage income needs throughout retirement.
- Relevant securities and insurance licenses (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) as required by regulatory authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and long‑term client relationships.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities, with attention to detail and ethical decision‑making.
- Comfort with CRM systems, financial planning tools, and standard office software; willingness to engage in continued professional development.
