We are looking for a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects by leveraging their expertise in Linux-based systems and cloud technologies.
As a Dev Ops Engineer at CGI Federal, you will be responsible for understanding the overall CI/CD pipeline as well as deploying and configuring services using Infrastructure as a Service providers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving continuous improvement and automation.
This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for application deployments
- Manage version control systems
- Configure, build, deploy, and manage containers
- Provide technical expertise to ensure the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of client applications
- Configure and manage Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 3+ Years' experience implementing a cloud-based solution
- 3+ Years experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
- Possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
- Be comfortable with Agile approaches
- Have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills
Compensation range (in the U.S.) is estimated at $80,600.00 - $, reflecting factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role; compensation decisions are case-dependent.
