Position Description

CGI is seeking an Advanced SAP S/4

HANA Functional Consultant with experience in the SAP ECC or S/4

HANA Materials Management (MM) module, or SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS). The successful candidate will work with clients to lead workshops, understand requirements, design and present solutions, configure SAP, and complete full lifecycle implementations in the Request to Procure (R2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) areas of the federal government. Primary focus is on design, configuration, and testing in SAP S/4

HANA Public Sector, with potential to grow and mentor an agile team focused on R2P and P2P within PPS or the MM module. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP Federal Financial Accounting processes and solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Facilitate the implementation of requirements, design solutions, and configure SAP MM for the Public Sector to enhance client business functionality and performance while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate workshops to review business requirements and translate them into system requirements, identifying gaps, issues, and workaround solutions across financial management, procurement, and asset management functions.
  • Act as a client liaison for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems; map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop product modifications to meet client needs.
  • Design, configure, and test PPS and the MM module in SAP S/4

    HANA to support teams focused on R2P and P2P.
  • Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support the creation of Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and To-Be process designs for SAP S/4

    HANA solutions.
  • Serve as a primary resource for successful SAP S/4

    HANA implementations, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentations, and instruction to clients.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check; ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 9 years of SAP consulting experience in materials management or procurement.
  • Expertise in financial management best practices, including demonstrations, test scripts, and functional/technical design documents.
  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of MM or PPS.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes within the federal government and familiarity with FAR, request packages, and requisition types.
  • Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation; strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations; strong organizational skills.
Desired qualifications
  • Experience using SAP Activate methodology.
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations.
  • Certification in SAP S/4

    HANA.
  • Experience integrating with SAP application areas such as MM, SRM, PS, and FM.
