CGI is seeking an experienced SAP S/4

HANA Basis Administrator to support a SAP S/4

HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. The Basis Administrator will provide technical application administration services in the development and production environments, ensuring applications adhere to technical service levels, and implement necessary corrective and maintenance measures. The primary focus is SAP Basis administration, with strong emphasis on SAP S/4

HANA and BW/4

HANA system administration and monitoring. The project operates in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment using Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver solutions based on customer requirements.

The role is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN. A hybrid working model is acceptable, requiring the employee to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

• Analyze, design, build, and configure activities necessary for the initial build and periodic refresh of SAP environment components.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain database performance and enhance middleware technology.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new SAP functionality and improve system performance.
• Monitor system performance and provide proactive maintenance as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to junior Basis team members.

• U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required. Candidates must obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Business, or another related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of SAP implementation and post‑production support experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, preferably with SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, patching, and enhancement packages.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Focused Build.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills.

• SAP Basis certification or related SAP certification.
• Experience with HANA administration.
• Experience working on an Agile team.
