Job DescriptionBe a part of a strategic opportunity positioning CGI for future work at the IRS. This is a one-year contract as a subcontractor to a small business that used to be the prime on this work before the contract was cancelled by the government. We are looking for team members who will make a great impression and develop trusted relationships with the client as we seek to get to know IRS stakeholders and expand our footprint at this important organization.
This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S., with the preferred location being Lafayette, Louisiana; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
US citizenship is required.
Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise to execute NIST, FISMA, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), FedRAMP, Treasury, and Internal Revenue Manual (IRM) technical Security Controls Assessments and Risk Analyses on information systems.
- Conduct assessments and risk analyses for systems deploying to or already deployed, identifying all vulnerabilities and risks.
- 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in information security, cyber risk management, or IT security operations.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in system security analysis, vulnerability management, or incident response within a Federal Information Systems Security or equivalent enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Security+ CE certification (required).
- US citizenship.
- Higher‑level certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CAP (preferred and may substitute for additional years of experience).
