The Procurement Replenishment Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective replenishment of inventory to support business operations and customer demand. This role manages procurement activities, monitors inventory levels, analyzes demand forecasts, and collaborates with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and supply disruptions.
Key Responsibilities- Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory needs and demand forecasts
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to delays, shortages, and quality
- Analyze inventory levels and demand trends to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Adjust replenishment parameters, including reorder points and safety stock levels
- Identify and manage excess, aging, and slow-moving inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory and procurement data within ERP systems and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies and communicate supply risks
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field
- Experience in procurement, inventory planning, replenishment planning, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or consumer goods environment
- Knowledge of demand forecasting methods and inventory optimization practices
- Experience with supplier performance tracking and purchasing processes
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
