Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Injection Molding Process Technician based in Lafayette, LA. The Process Technician will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure optimal production. Key tasks include establishing and maintaining stable process windows for multiple injection molding machines on a daily basis, following standardized process parameter guidelines, and collaborating with both Engineering and Quality team members to ensure customer specifications are being met.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and resolving issues with injection molding equipment
  • Proficiency in Process Engineering and optimization for manufacturing efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Experience with a diverse range of polymers including but not limited to engineering grade materials such as PEEK, PEI, TPE, and fiber reinforced materials to commodity grade materials such as PE and PP.
  • Strong Training skills to guide team members and ensure adherence to operating procedures
  • Familiarity with Quality Control methodologies and standards to ensure product excellence
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in manufacturing or related fields are a plus
