Material Coordinator ; Onsite: Lafayette, LA

The Material Coordinator I under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.

• Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Night Shift: 4:00 pm – 2:00 am | Monday - Thursday | 10-hour with Overtime and weekends.

• Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
• Prior Experience with Overhead Crane and Forklift a Plus – Training will be provided.
• Understanding of overhead crane operations.
• Proficiency with machinery and tools, including basic packaging/crating tools and rigging.
• Competency in operating powered industrial trucks.
