Seeking an experienced seamstress in Lafayette, LA
Monday - Friday
Qualification Requirements:
1. Previous factory sewing, or upholstery experience preferred
2. Ability to read and follow instruction manual
3. Able to read tape measure
4. Able to work standing most of day
5. Able to perform team work and maintain a positive attitude
Responsibilities:
1. Measure and cut rope, windows, and other materials
2. Rope and tie shields
3. Keep accurate counts
4. Label and package items
5. Perform quality control work.
6. Assist in gluing, organizing, and any other tasks that support sewing
7. Handle job order paperwork
8. Assist with inventory control
9. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
10. Abide by all safety rules, and maintain a safe work space and healthy work environment
