CNC Machinist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 28.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)

• 3-5 years experience
• Blueprint reading for manufacturing prints, geometric tolerance, finish requirements, and manufacturing notes
• 3-5+ years' experience as CNC Machinist including the ability to perform own part setups
• Must be able to setup and use MRP Gauges and other inspection equipment
• Assist in controlling tooling inventory and tooling use
• Problem solving skills i.e., Speed and feed to reduce chatter
• Basic computer skills (email, MS Office) and good communication skills
• Must be self-directed and exhibit a strong ability to handle multiple tasks
• Lifting required of parts, tools, and accessories of parts up to 50 lbs.
• Operation of overhead hoist/crane, with safety in mind, for larger parts, greater than 50 lbs.
• Climbing up to 5 ft. (Operation of forklift)

CNC Machinist

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience as CNC Programmer using CAM software with an understanding of G-Code and M-Code
• Experience with Premium Threads (JFE, VAM, Etc.) a Plus
• Ability to set-up 3 or 4 jaw lathe(s) with minimal supervision and without causing damage to parts or equipment.
• Ability to distinguish between different types of threaded connections, sizes and be familiar with all types of products manufactured by PQES
