The CAM Operations team manages design issue communication, validates orders, generates support structures, and handles equipment setup, resin cleaning, and curing during rapid manufacturing processes using advanced software and machinery.
Brief DescriptionJoin our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. The CAM Operations team manages design issue communication, validates orders, generates support structures, and handles equipment setup, resin cleaning, and curing during rapid manufacturing processes using advanced software and machinery. The CAM Operator is responsible for transforming CAD files into physical products by operating 3D printers and CNC mills under the guidance of the CAM Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Manipulate CAD files for manufacturability using 3D modelling software
- Facilitate the production of CAD models utilizing various 3D printing software & 3D printers
- Create tool path to mill wax using CNC mills
- Process 3D printed parts by cleaning, curing, and matching prints to jobs
- Utilize computer system to be able to track individual jobs and maintain organized records
- Communicate with manufacturing teams on improvements and opportunities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in navigating 3D software environments, similar to experience in gaming or interactive 3D applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in manufacturing
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in CAD Software
- Experience in 3D printing technology & software
- CNC Milling experience
- Previous experience in jewelry industry
