Borden Dairy is seeking a
safety-conscious and quality-focused professional
to join our team as a
Maintenance Technician 2. In this dynamic role, you will install, maintain, and repair production and manufacturing equipment. You will also inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance duties in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

• Performcomplete preventative maintenanceinspections and services on all production and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to meet company performance standards.
• Apply acontinuous improvement mindsetto identify and support process improvements.
• Comply with all company safety policiesandregulatory compliance requirements.
• Use allpersonal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Possess and maintainpersonal tools necessary to perform job duties.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three years of related experience and/or training in equipment maintenance and repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Moderate knowledge of and/or experience withPLC systems.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data.
• Bilingual skillsare beneficial.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shiftsas required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborativelyin fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.

• Basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
• Conveyors (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls).
• Gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts).
• Hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).
• Preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data).
• Pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs).
• Review rating instructions.
• PLC, HVAC, Ammonia, Refrigeration, or other specialty certifications preferred but not required.

• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bendwith full range of motion.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, with typical lifting requirements up to 50 lbs; occasionally required to lift and/or ... 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold climates, both indoors and outdoors.
