- Full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination; extensive periods of standing and walking; bending, lifting, and carrying;

- Professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations related to evaluating and providing patient care, and professional ethics.
- Medical equipment and instruments used to administer patient care.
- Common safety hazards and precautions to establish/maintain a safe work environment.
- Health promotion, health risk identification, and patient education principles and techniques.
- Community, professional, and educational resources.
- Oral and written communication, including interviewing to gather medical histories; providing presentations, consultations, facilitation, and documentation such as writing medical orders, patient education materials, and medical record updates. - Case management, time management, problem solving, crisis intervention, multitasking, and other organizational matters.
- Modifying methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide appropriate care and to initiate appropriate emergency response and investigatory procedures.
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision on assigned tasks, while accepting direction and real‑time coaching on given tasks.
- Manage high volumes of patients in a short span of time, while dealing with unpredictable issues.
- Personal flexibility to perform in an ever‑changing work environment with frequent interruptions.
- Prioritize competing responsibilities while under pressure.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with patients, coworkers, and other practice customers.
- Prepare patients for physician or healthcare provider encounters, including auditing charts in accordance with practice standards and policies.
- Secure and evaluate medical health and development history of the patient.
- Prepare rooms, obtain vital signs, record patient histories, sterilize instruments, prepare equipment or supplies and ensure that the stock of supplies is maintained.
- Prepare and administer medications according to organization policy and procedure.
- Conduct specified laboratory tests including but not limited to phlebotomy and urine analysis.
