This job assumes responsibility for administering flu vaccines during employee flu fair events. Provides care within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.

Required
- Completion of an accredited LPN program Work Experience Required
- None.

Required
- Current LPN License in the state of practice.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills

• Administers flu vaccines
• Disposes of bio-hazardous waste in the appropriate and prescribed manner
• Assists with set up and dismantle of flu fair event site
• Ensures appropriate consent forms are completed prior to flu vaccine administration
• Performs other related duties as required.
