Description:
This is a locum to perm position only.
Providers must make a decision within 60 days of starting.
This practice involves a high volume of complex patients.
Coordination of care is essential for the patient population.
On average, providers see 10-12 patients per day.
These cases often involve co-morbidities.
Treatment visits and follow-ups are required, along with some new patient appointments.
There is no inpatient rounding required.
Providers rotate call on Saturdays from 8 AM to noon approximately once every three months.
Coverage type is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.Providers must work until the last chemotherapy/biotherapy treatment is completed each day.
The setting is a clinic with an outpatient infusion suite.
The facility is staffed with a full-time physician and a part-time physician.
Providers will follow a full panel of patients.
Patient encounters average about 10 patients per shift.
Credentialing timeframe is estimated to 120 days.
Certification in BLS is required.
Additional certifications may be necessary.
The facility operates at a trauma level of 0.
