Full-time locum - Licenses/Certs: LA medical license (or eligible), Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Experience:
Prior surgical or ICU experience preferred - Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (price reflects placeholder; pay package discussed upon application)

- Conduct inpatient rounds for cardiovascular surgical patients
- Provide surgical consult support for cardiovascular procedures
- Cover emergency room calls as needed
- Assist with procedures including CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, aneurysm repairs, arterial bypasses, and valve replacements
- Collaborate with a team of 2 cardiovascular surgeons and 3 APPs
- Manage a case volume of approximately 15-20 postoperative patients per week
- Participate in clinic activities once weekly
Required:
- Valid medical license in Louisiana or eligible for licensing
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- Prior experience in surgical or critical care settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience with cardiovascular or thoracic procedures
- Strong clinical and surgical assessment skills
