RN Pediatric Home Care Nights

Role Overview:

The Pediatric Registered Nurse provides and manages nursing care for pediatric patients in their homes, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and agency policies. They coordinate care plans with healthcare professionals, patients, families, and community resources to promote continuous, quality care.

• Deliver high-quality clinical services within scope of practice and infection control standards
• Coordinate care from admission to discharge with the care team
• Perform clinical assessments in line with federal/state requirements and payer needs
• Verify patient eligibility and medical necessity for services
• Develop and update individualized care plans with community providers
• Adjust care plans based on patient needs and physician approval

• Unrestricted RN licensure in the practice state
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to adapt to diverse home environments
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation

• Over one year of RN experience, preferably pediatric
• Ability to work independently with strong communication, organizational, and writing skills
