Duration: Ongoing with locum-to-perm potential
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, work until last chemo/biotherapy is completed
Hours/Week: 40
Employment: Locum, with possible transition to permanent
Licensure/Certs: Active Nurse Practitioner license in LA (or eligible)
Experience: 3-5 years Hematology/Oncology experience required

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00

What You’ll Do:

Manage a full panel of hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
Follow up with patients undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Conduct new patient visits, treatment planning, and ongoing follow-ups
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and document in EMR
Participate in rotating call coverage on Saturdays (8 am - 12 pm) approximately once every 3 months
Work with an established team of 2 NPs and 2 physicians in a fully staffed clinic with infusion suite

What You Need:

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain one
3-5 years of Hematology/Oncology experience
Strong coordination and patient management skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Comfortable managing complex cases with co-morbidities
