Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Metrology Technician based in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area. The Metrology Technician will be responsible for performing calibration, measurements, quality control checks, and ensuring the precision and accuracy of equipment and tools. The role includes maintaining laboratory standards, using analytical and technical skills to perform tests and evaluations, and ensuring that equipment meets regulatory and operational standards.
Qualifications- Laboratory Skills and experience in maintaining precise environments and equipment settings
- Proficiency in Calibration and Measurements to ensure the accuracy and functionality of tools and instruments
- Strong Analytical Skills and experience in problem-solving and evaluating complex data
- Knowledge of Quality Control processes to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and technical proficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate clearly
- Associate's degree or certification in a relevant technical field is preferred
- Experience with metrology or precision instrumentation in the oil and gas industry is a plus
