Quality Control - QC Analysts/Managers
POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the general supervision of the Chief 135 inspector, maintain accurate and timely records of the aircraft within the assigned areas, providing relevant information concerning aircraft overhaul, inspection, and retirement schedules in accordance with FAA regulations, PHI guidelines and manufacturer’s standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assisting office personnel with the installation/removal and build‑up of historical log cards.
- Auditing engineering sheets to compile monthly flight time reports and monitor the daily entries of records, including flight times, engine starts, aircraft take‑offs and RIN counts, to ensure they are properly updated.
- Maintaining digitization and on‑site/off‑site storage of aircraft logbooks.
- Developing and instituting cost‑effective methods of document handling, including printing, binding, expediting and distribution.
- Working with the Quality Control Department to ensure accuracy and assist in audits as necessary.
- Performing administrative duties within the department (sorting mail, ordering supplies, scanning records for digital retention, and assisting employees with requests).
- Performing other tasks as directed.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Qualified through training, experience, and expertise.
