Lead Quality Engineering and Help Deliver Reliable Enterprise Solutions Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional who enjoys leading teams, improving testing practices, and ensuring complex applications are ready for successful production releases? CGI is seeking an experienced QA Lead to provide hands-on quality leadership across enterprise software development initiatives. In this role, you will help shape quality and testing strategies, lead QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle, and partner with technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet high standards for functionality, performance, security, reliability, and user experience.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, project and product leaders, Dev Ops teams, and client stakeholders to establish quality objectives, strengthen test coverage, manage defects and risks, and continuously improve how quality is built into the delivery process. As a QA Lead, you will provide leadership across the testing lifecycle while helping teams continuously improve software quality, delivery efficiency, and release confidence.

• Lead, mentor, and support QA professionals across enterprise software development initiatives.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, quality standards, and testing processes aligned with project and client objectives.
• Lead and coordinate functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Partner with business analysts, developers, project leadership, and business stakeholders to define quality objectives, acceptance criteria, test coverage, and release-readiness expectations.
• Drive test automation initiatives that increase coverage, reduce manual effort, accelerate feedback, and improve overall release quality.
• Identify opportunities to integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops delivery practices.
• Monitor testing progress, coverage, defects, dependencies, and quality risks, providing clear and timely status reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead defect triage and lifecycle management, partnering with development and business teams to prioritize issues and drive timely resolution.
• Perform and facilitate root cause analysis to identify recurring quality issues and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
• Establish and monitor QA metrics that provide visibility into testing effectiveness, defect trends, release readiness, and overall solution quality.
• Promote quality engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, helping teams build quality into solutions from the earliest stages of delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing methodologies, tools, automation frameworks, processes, and overall team effectiveness.
• Assess release readiness and help ensure software releases meet established quality standards, business requirements, and client expectations.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on quality ownership, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
* 5+ years of Quality Assurance and software testing experience, including experience leading QA teams or testing activities for enterprise software development initiatives.
* Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test strategy, test planning, test design, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
* Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable technologies.
* Experience developing and executing functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
* Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or comparable tools.
* Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery environments and collaborating with Dev Ops and software development teams.
