PositionMerchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, duties may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, stocking shelves, and assisting members. The role can be physically demanding, but it’s a fast-paced environment with opportunities to be part of a great team focused on helping members find what they love for less.
Responsibilities- Promptly unloading trucks
- Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
- Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Fulfilling club pick-up orders and staging according to company policy
- Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving issues; and promoting company products and services
- Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations
- Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by proper zoning, stocking, arranging, cleaning and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and identifying shrink
- Monitors product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensures prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise
- Complies with company policies and ethics by applying related action plans and open-door policy
- Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners, and adapting to feedback
- Ensures club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy
