Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate must intercept consumers, demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Pay Rate
: $13.00/hr
- Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business or client needs.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED. One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer SkillsProficient in using and navigating on a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, and RegistrationsLocal food handler permit may be required.
Physical DemandsStand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Work EnvironmentRetail store environment with limited travel.
Physical AppearanceEnsure a professional appearance and proper grooming. The Associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in the training documents.
Language SkillsEnglish is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
